Weekend Walking Holidays

Our weekend walking holidays are very popular and book up quickly. You must be a member of the Ramblers to book onto a weekend holiday.

The best way to pay is by bank transfer. Ask the weekend organiser if you are interested for full details.

The Nottingham & Derby Walking Group is a not for profit organisation and it is run by volunteers. The weekend holidays are extremely good value and we do not make a profit on them.

  The weekend will be based in Keswick with planned walks on the 31st Aug, 1st Sep and 2nd Sep. We have booked 2 four bed rooms in Keswick YHA where we will be based for the weekend. The cost per person for the 3 nights is £112.50. There are plenty of other options available in the hostel if you would prefer more privacy etc. There are also loads of B&B options and camping close by in Keswick. The hostel itself offers self catering as well as a pretty decent restaurant menu. Details can be found on the YHA website. There is free parking available a few hundred metres away.

  For enjoyment and safety, numbers will be limited to 16 group members. As usual we will need details for those attending (including Ramblers no.) and where you are staying. Jay will set up an email list and, if we are not all staying in the same place, a WhatsApp group to assist daily communication.   If you wish to book one of the pre-booked bed spaces, we will take email requests received AFTER 6pm on Wed 1st May on a first come first serve basis. We will also post a reminder a day or so before.
